The Gerhardt family has been practising environmentally friendly viticulture on the historic vineyard in Radebeul for over 40 years. The estate's vineyard is located at the foot of the steep slopes of Oberlößnitz and is surrounded by stately homes and neighbouring parks dating back to the 19th century. Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Kerner, Traminer, Riesling and Pinot Noir are cultivated on a vineyard area of around one hectare.
The mulled wines from the Haus Steinbach winery are characterised by a pleasant fruitiness. Not too sweet, but deliciously Christmas-flavoured, they are the perfect companion for long Christmas market evenings.
