Music at Christmas time

The Wirbeley group takes its listeners on a fairytale journey through a world of fantastic sounds, colours and moods. This is where the sheer joy of music-making meets folklore. The musicians open up a cornucopia of musical tales to the audience and tell, among other things, of the love story of a drum major from Provence with a beautiful Lusatian woman, of Bohemian peasant dances or a Serbian soiree with Saxon settlers. Of course, well-known and popular Christmas songs are also part of the repertoire and the audience is cordially invited to sing along.
